A Complex, Colorful  and Richly marked French-Italian Cover and Letter to Monsieur Le Marquis Joseph. Replete with colorful blue Paris dispatch cancel, two red French transit cancels, a Straightline French Pacquet boat Cancel, Papal States Post transit mark to Bologna, manuscript rate marking, Bologna receiving backstamp, as well as a Bologna Disinfection backstamp & double slits

Contents: Autograph letter enclosed letter states in part: "Our poor friend has diarrhea and all his strength has been sapped. he feels so bad that he has made his last will and testament. He was going to buy a mill in Marseille but to hell with that now. He is thankful to the Bologna boy friend for the money. It helps a lot in this awful situation."
