Front: See detail image above
Condition: Extremely Fine Condition
Contents:  In Swedish: Letter sent to Helsinki on January 3, 1774, during the time of King Gustaf III, concerning the delivery of grains to the Royal or Military Storage House (Krono Magazinet i Helsingfors). The letter is asking that grains should be picked up by the 15th of January and accounted for at arrival. Grains were to be to be consumed by military troops stationed in Helsinki, rather than the public because Finland was at that time a fairly rich country with a good production of grains. Sweden wanted a strong military stationed in Helsinki to defend its power over Finland from the Russians. Letter is signed by F Wättling.  The Cover Address panel directs it to be published upon arrival.
